Living Water and the Power of Personal Invitation
Message from Pastor Mike Garcia | John 4:1–28
A Sunday Sermon at Watsonville Church of the Nazarene
This past weekend, our Watsonville Church family gathered for the final message in our How to Tell People About Jesus series. We were honored to welcome Pastor Mike Garcia from Salinas New Life Church of the Nazarene, who preached a powerful sermon from John 4:1–28, the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well.
In this moment from Scripture, Jesus engages with someone others had dismissed. This encounter reminds us that no one is too far gone, and everyone is invited into the life-changing love of God. His conversation with the woman broke down barriers of culture, shame, and religion—and her life was never the same.
At Watsonville Church of the Nazarene (also known as WatsNaz), we believe that Jesus is still offering that living water today. And just like the woman at the well, we are invited to respond by sharing this gift with others.
💧 Key Takeaways from the Message:
Jesus meets us where we are. He doesn’t wait for us to be perfect—He enters our daily lives with grace.
Your story matters. The Samaritan woman didn’t share a theology lesson—she simply said, “Come and see.”
Evangelism is relational. We don’t need all the answers to make a difference. A personal invitation can change someone’s eternity.
Whether you’re new to faith, returning to church, or looking for a family-focused church in Watsonville, this message will inspire you to take the next step in sharing your faith.
